UMTS in South Africa
Auch unterwegs im Urlaub möchte man so dann und wann das Mobiles Internet zu nutzen ....
In den meisten größeren Hotels wird man wohl an ein lokales WLAN kommen. Die Alternative bzw. Ergänzung dazu ist das Funktelefon (bzw. Huawei E220) mit GSM bzw. UMTS-Broadband...
Oder noch bequemer als ein extra USB-Teil wie das Huawei E220: Ein Netbook mit eingebautem UMTS, wie z.B. das LG X120-G...
Eine noch ganz bequeme Alternative ist der UMTS-Stick z.B. der Aldi S4012 (Huawei E1550).
Für Spanien hatte ich mir eine spanische Vodafone-Karte organisiert (siehe: GSM).
Für Südafrika habe ich bisher folgende Hinweise gefunden:
