Ubuntu
Ubuntu ist eine neuere (2006) Linux-Edition, die für Windows-Freunde einfacher zu verstehen ist und (fast) alles enthält was man braucht.
Ubuntu benutze ich als Basis für meine MythTV-Installationen.
Installation
- Version 7.04 genannt "Feisty Fawn"
Package Manager APT
Erstens:
$ sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
should read (or include):
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty main restricted universe multiverse deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty-updates main restricted universe multiverse deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty-security main restricted universe multiverse deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty-backports main restricted universe multiverse
