Songbird is based on Mozilla's XULRunner platform, thus capable of running on Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, and most distributions of Linux with few modifications.
On the Windows and Macintosh platforms, Songbird utilizes the VideoLAN (VLC) Client plugin for media playback and SQLite for Medialibrary organization and storage.
Plays MP3 songs and MP3 streaming InternetRadio.
